The starred restaurants in the Marche

WHAT IS A MICHELIN STAR

Among the books about food, the Micheline guide is considered the most valuable gastronomic guide in the world.

The Michelin star is a price given by inspectors of La Rossa to the best restaurants: the evaluation metrics are the chef, the menu, the wine list and the location.

374 restaurants in Italy were considered “starred” by the Michelin Guide in 2020, a growing trend compared to the 367 of the previous edition: 11 three Michelin stars, 35 two stars and 328 one-star, distributed on all Italy, with a strong presence in Lombardy.

THE MICHELIN STARRED RESTAURANTS IN THE MARCHE

In the Marche, one restaurant gained three stars and one gained two stars; two restaurants gained one star, for a total number of 4 starred restaurants.

In the guide are also mentioned some restaurants without stars but with a “dish“, that means that they have “a very good proposal and quality products”.

3 MICHELIN STARS: ULIASSI, SENIGALLIA (AN)

The restaurant Uliassi of Mario Uliassi, has a simple and contemporary fish menu because, at the same time, uses the maximum level of technique and technology available on the market and knows deeply the local traditions. His tradition is mutable and that feeds itself on travel and other contaminations.
